Korres Body Scrub in Watermelon

On Saturday my lovely housemates surprised me with this Korres Body Scrub for my birthday. After trying (and loving!) the Korres Lip Butter I had high hopes. If you are in the UK I know Korres is a relatively new, unknown brand but since being rolled out in various Waitrose its a lot easier to get your hands on. I've also heard you may stumble across a few bargains in TKMAXX if you're lucky! Anything body care related is a big winner in my books so this made its way immediately into my shower.

Korres describe the scrub as 'a fruity and summery scrub with naturally derived exfoliating grains which softens and prepares the skin for a uniform tan.' Although it isn't Summer here so I can't comment on it helping out a tan I can see it would work well for just that as it doesn't strip the skin or leave a layer of oil like some scrubs. With the help of a combination of ground bamboo and jojoba beans it effectively removes dead cells and improves microcirculation helping the appearance of your skin.

This year I'm trying to be much more aware of using more natural products and this fits the bill perfectly. Containing 90.5% natural content and being paraben, natural oil and silicone free makes me all the happier to use it. The scent cannot be mistaken for anything other than watermelon and it hits you hard when you smell it in the tube but I assure you it's a lot more subtle once on the skin. Very fresh and fruity that'll make you feel like your on holiday as soon as the sun is out! I'm not a fan of anything in a pot or tub when I'm in the shower so the packaging is a big plus as the super modern design and tube makes it very easy to use.

After trying two hits from the brand I want to get my hands on more to test, can you recommend me any products? The Serum looks gorgeous but is also pricey, should I?!

  3. This sounds gorgeous I love the scent of watermelon! I write about natural beauty products over on my blog if you want to check it out for recommendations! I managed to get a Korres body lotion in TK Maxx last year for £4.50 instead of like £11 so it was a major bargain and its lovely. It's plum & vanilla with almond oil and its really lovely.
